I am an encaustic painter and I use art to visually interpret ideas that inspire or challenge me, including philosophical writings and poetry. I use abstraction to express myself, leaving others to see and find their own meaning in the work. I am particularly drawn to nature for my subject matter, and am in awe of the interconnectedness of every living creature's life and the ties that bind us all together.
