Gina White is a beekeeper, encaustic artist, and educator in the Tampa Bay Area. She has a passion for building community and connection through the arts. She is a signature member of the National Association of Women Artists (NAWA) and president elect of NAWA’s Florida chapter (NAWAFL). She is a member of International Encaustic Artists (IEA) and its Florida chapter, Florida Wax. Gina regularly exhibits her work and teaches about the encaustic painting process at museums, colleges, community centers, and nonprofit organizations around the state of Florida. Gina was the co-founder and past director of the St. Pete First Art Collective and is currently the co-chair and curator at St. Thomas Art Project, a not-for-profit gallery and art center that supports local artists and brings their work to new audiences. She serves as a juror for NAWA (National) as well as several local community-based art organizations.
Gina lives with her husband, two children, Hazel the dog, and a multitude of bees at Dickens Bee Farm.
